The boys and I got to be a part of the Avera Queen of Peace Foundation fundraiser in Mitchell, SD. The foundation provides an opportunity for friends and supporters to share in the healthcare cost for their community so it was an honor to be up there and be a part of the night.
While getting to share in a good ole fashioned 16 hour road trip, we were able to capture a little bit of audio from the performance, and a few pics, as well.
This is always a fun time of year around the Cool household...generally pretty crazy...but fun.
One of our favorite things to do is listen to Christmas music and decorate the tree. And this year, James (our three year old) wouldn't stop asking us when he was going to get to see "Ho Ho Ho" and Caleb (our one year old) wouldn't stop pulling the ornaments off the tree. Good stuff.
And since it's that time of year, I'm excited to announce that today we are relaunching A Cool Christmas, with updated artwork, for sale this month on the website. You can either stream it online or pick it up in the store. I hope it's a nice addition to your collection and hope you guys have a wonderful holiday season.
We've played a few events at Cedarwood but this was by far the best weather we'd had there. Seriously, a perfect fall day and it ended up being a great night too. Good food, lots of dancing, and the music was pretty good too :)
Way to be Cedarwood...way to be.
We can't make it through a set without playing a Johnny Cash tune and Folsom Prison Blues is almost always the song that gets the biggest reaction. Gotta love the energy that this song brings.
